On our Pod pages are detailed break downs of the costs which include a range of optional upgrades so you can choose a Pod to fit your budget and needs. As all are made to order we can build exactly what you need and although in the current Covid climate lead times change we will advise you of these when you inquire but we aim from order confirmation to delivery 6-8 weeks.
Our Pods can be fully assembled in our workshop and lifted into position allowing the installation to be finished within a matter of hours. Fully offsite built Pods are more expensive with a POA but as a guide for a 3x4m Pod has an extra cost of £ 1,800 which largely covers the cost of haulage and crane. Only Pods up to a depth of 3.5m can be lifted into position as highway rules apply. If access or budget does not allow our modular pod panels can be assembled on site, medium sized pods are installed usually within a ten day time frame.
The highly skilled team of tradespeople who will manufacture and fit your Pod have been building our luxury multi-million pound homes for many years. We can cover and protect your lawn areas and drives with our ground mats and grass ground guards (shown below) and can place portable site facilities so the men will not need to enter your home, all we need is a water and electric supply to allow our work to proceed.
NO HARD SELL.
We do not have a sales team so there is no pressure or pestering. We do have dedicated Project Managers to oversee your project and customers will be welcome to visit our workshop and Show Pod and view the selection of materials offered.
Our workshop & premises are currently undergoing a major refurbishment and due to open early Spring of 2021 however you will be able to look through our website to see examples of finished projects and by appointment can show you both projects in progress and finished. From this information we can give you a free quotation that will be subject to a final site survey
You would be welcome to visit our workshop and Show Pod.
If you are happy with the quotation we will require a £500 payment, book in the desgin work and prepare a detailed set of 2D floor plans and elevations showing electrical layouts etc. This will come off the end price of your Pod.
Also at this time we will undertake a site survey which may include a small test bore hole to check ground conditions are suitable for the foundations we have allowed for in the quote.
Once the layout and options have been finalised we will ask you to sign off the details so we can book in production, at this stage a 50% deposit is required to start the manufacturing process.
As we bespoke make all Pods we normally need a lead time of 6-8 weeks before we can fit your Pod into your home. A convenient date is scheduled for your Pod.
The foundations and service trench (ground works) are usually started a week before the delivery of the Pod which is when the main installation starts. When the Pod is delivered a further deposit of 25% is required.
When all the work is finished your Project Manager will make sure you are happy and will run through all the information you need to start enjoying your new Pod. The balance will then be due.
For many years we have dealt with a wide variety of Planning Applications ranging from small permitted development applications through to multi million pound housing sites so have a very good understanding of the process and planning laws, when needed we also work with Planning Consultants.
There is much reading online explaining how garden buildings can be built without the need for Planning Consent and this is largely true but in some cases you will not always have standard Permitted Development Rights. We will asses your project for you and in some cases may recommend that a Certificate of Lawful Development is applied for or full Planning Consent and can assist with this on even the most challenging sites.

Garden-Pod is an off shoot of Creating-Spaces who's parent company The Pure Group have been a long standing home builder and developer but also offer building projects for private individuals. Our lead project manager and senior director Adrian started his career having studied Architecture and technical drawing, he then went on to work for his father’s well-regarded Brighton based construction company training as a project manager, builder and carpenter. During these many years he was able to study a range of skilled trades from groundwork through to cabinet making and specialised in high quality finishing work.
Adrian went on to partner with his father and together they built an award winning and highly regarded construction company. Shortly after his father’s retirement property development was combined with Adrian’s return to design work which encompasses landscape, interior through to full Architectural and construction drawings for high end bespoke homes and multiple housing plots.
Adrian's son James works part time on design & concept projects in between his university studies where he is training as an Architect.
Creating Spaces now works as a boutique design and build contractor. Adrian intentionally takes an Artisan approach keeping the team sized so quality remains the focus but also able to tackle multi million pound building projects.
Garden landscaping and buildings have long been key to all our projects so the start of our dedicated Garden Pod team was a natural evolution bringing our superior build quality and design to our modern range of garden buildings.

Our projects demand close attention to detail and those that work with us have honed their skills, so we are able to build the high quality homes we are well known for.
